This workshop is being offered to help 4-H members create visibility for their efforts and tell their story in a compelling and meaningful way.
Learn best practices from other advisory groups and state experts in order to improve your groups’ effectiveness, teamwork, and empowerment of youth.
Participants will share and develop valuable knowledge and skills related to youth leadership, civic engagement, global citizenship, and international cultures.
The weekend offers activities with a focus on science, outdoor education, healthy living, and meaningful service in order to strengthen the mentoring relationship.
Sessions will provide youth with opportunities to learn about 4-H projects, life skills, the Four-H’s of 4-H, and other Michigan activities and events for 5-8 year old youth.
Express yourself! Having great communications skills can make a big difference in life and work. The ways we communicate, as young people and adults, touches all that we do. In 4-H activities, you will have the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in areas such as public speaking, writing, visual communication, video and media.
