Michigan 4-H Horse & Pony Project Show Rules & Regulations (4H1145)
Revised Spring 2011
This bulletin contains the horse show rules and regulations that are used at the State 4-H Horse Show (held in August each year at Michigan State University), and that are recommended for use at all 4-H horse shows in Michigan. It is intended to help standardize the judging and evaluation at 4-H horse shows throughout Michigan and to provide educational information about the types of horses and classes represented in the Michigan 4-H horse and pony project. The book is provided online to make it more accessible to everyone who is involved in the Michigan 4-H horse program, and to reduce printing, storage and distribution costs.
- Michigan 4-H Horse & Pony Project Show Rules & Regulations Full-Sheet Version – This is the complete book in an 8.5-inch by 11-inch format that is useful at 4-H club or group meetings, horse bowl matches and judging contests.
- Michigan 4-H Horse & Pony Project Show Rules & Regulations Pocket Version – This is the complete book in a 4-inch by 9-inch format that will fit in a back jeans pocket at a horse show. The size of the book (112 pages, plus cover) makes printing and stapling it in the center difficult or impossible without commercial equipment.
